The Little Things

D. Henry Osborne’s personal safe remains in the homes basement, extremely well preserved and inscribed.  Featured below is the Austin & Warner seal from the floor plans that still remain, stenciled ceiling details, molding, Handel light fixture which hangs in the formal dining room.  The faux wood grain on the doors of the homes interior were masterfully done with a feather, a fashion of the time.  The Landmark Society of Western New York has a list of reputable craftspeople who can duplicate this and many other crafts & skills of the era.
